Know What to Throw
Educate yourself on what your local recycling company takes.
Empty. Clean. Dry.
Make sure all containers are empty and as clean as possible. This helps reduce contamination levels and ensure the most material gets recycled!
Nothing Smaller than a Credit Card
Anything smaller falls through the machines. Attach bottle caps to the bottle to make sure they are recycled as too!
Keep it Loose
NEVER bag your recyclables. Recyclables are HAND SORTED and they are not able to break open bags due to time and safety issues.
