Northeast Florida residents protest offshore oil exploration, oil rigs on coast
At least 150 people from throughout Northeast Florida who braved the blistering sand and blast furnace-like heat to say “no” to offshore oil exploration and oil rigs that ultimately could sprout along the coast, according to potential federal plans allowing federal seismic air-gun blasting.
