Eco Cinema
Using the power of film to inspire environmental action and awareness in our communities.
Eco Cinema Mission
This engaging program brings the public together for free environmental and wildlife conservation films followed by live panel discussions with local experts. By combining education, entertainment, and open dialogue, Eco Cinema creates a powerful space for learning, connection, and action.
Our screenings cover urgent topics like plastic pollution, toxic chemicals, climate change, and ecosystem loss, empowering viewers to understand the issues and explore local solutions. Each event is intentionally hosted in a welcoming, accessible venue with food and drinks available for purchase, and students are encouraged to attend and can earn community service hours for participation.
Why it Matters

To Engage Students

To Build Community
Builds community connections around sustainability and local action
To Raise Awareness
Plastic pollution affects not just the environment, but also human health through endocrine disruption, immune dysfunction, and exposure to microplastics
