BGG Student Clubs Highlights + Sustainable Stocking Stuffers

BGG Student Club Highlights

Our clubs at Fletcher Middle School and Sandalwood High worked tirelessly on their displays for Deck the Chairs 2025! Students repurposed newspaper, plates, cups, old fishing gear, cardboard boxes, plastic, aluminum, old art supplies, PVC, a mannequin doll, thrifted clothes, an old fishing pole, fishing line, hooks, and more.

These projects showcase the importance of upcycling, using secondhand items, and getting creative with limited resources. Way to go!

Congratulations to Sandalwood BGG Club for winning the “Keep America Beautiful” Award!

Sandalwood’s BGG club was nominated for their environmental stewardship efforts in Jacksonville—both on and off campus. Their awesome teacher sponsor and principal attended the ceremony where we celebrated their accomplishments. We can’t wait to see what these awesome teens do next.
